CNET Asia Review
Excellent
The good: Good cosmetics and ergonomics; sharp LCD that offers touchscreen interface and touch-sensitive navigation; Web programmable via Windows or Mac PCs; excellent button layout and design; rechargeable Lithium-ion battery and docking station. 8.7
out of 10View score
The bad: No RF compatibility; somewhat pricey.
The bottom line: While it's missing an RF option, Logitech's Harmony One is one of the best--if not the best--universal remote we've ever tested.

User Friendly, Well Designed Universal Remote Control
Aug 27, 2008Rating: 9 out of 10 (Spectacular)
Pros: Ergonomically Designed, Functionality, Price?
Cons: No RF compatibility, Needs PC - USB connection to update, Price?
Opinion:
The Harmony One is a very well upgrade to the Harmony 880 series. The remote control is completely redesigned with ergonomics and user-friendlyness in mind. Users of the previous Harmony 880, like myself, would be over joyed with the enlarged buttons and touch screen display.
Functionality-wise, the Harmony One is pretty much the same as the Harmony 880 series so I do not need to say more there. The Harmony needs to be updated online and Logitech and Harmony have done a great job in updating their online interface. As we all know, this is both good and bad. You need to use a PC to update and "install" your remote.
I would really like to see a RF capatible version but I am guessing Harmony will likely to release such a version soon. As for the price, I got it for HKD$2100. I think it is reasonable for such a universal remote control. I am ... Read more
One of the Best Remotes....
Jun 16, 2008Rating: 9 out of 10 (Spectacular)
Pros: Touch screen, user friendly, easy to program, replaceable rechargeabel battery
Cons: price, no RF.
Opinion:
Bought this last week at the PC show. I owned an older Logitech remote before, and it takes less than 5 minutes to transfer everthing over to the new remotes. Love the touchscreen, shortcuts for your favourite channels, works with almost any equipment that you have. I even manage to program for my old KDK fan. I love how it is so easy to program and customise almost any buttons that you want. This is the one remote that would rule all other remotes that you have at home.
Doesn't Come Much Better Than This
May 7, 2008Rating: 9 out of 10 (Spectacular)
Pros: Easy to use, looks great, very responsive
Cons: None yet
Opinion:
I have upgraded from the Logitech 785. This remote is far superior in terms of ease of use, function and responsiveness.
